This adapter is used to mount a Mini PCI-E card in a standard PCI-Express x1 slot. It also includes wiring for antennas, as most Mini PCI-E cards are for wireless networking.Note that this card is only a PCIe adapter, and as such some secondary features found on wireless cards (such as bluetooth) will not be functional. This is because these features actually utilize a built-in USB adapter that is integrated into laptop mini PCIe slots and not the PCIe lane.
